How It Works
Installed outside like an A/C unit and running on natural gas or propane. It's fully automatic. Here's what happens when the grid goes down.
Grid Goes Down
Power Outage
When utility power fails, your home goes dark. But not for long. Your A&A GenPro system is already on it.
Transfer Switch Activates
Outage Detected
Within seconds, the transfer switch detects the outage and signals your generator to start. Power flows automatically - no buttons, no running outside.
Whole-Home Protection
Power Restored
Lights, AC, fridge, medical equipment. Everything runs until utility power returns, then the system switches back automatically. You won't even notice the outage happened.

The Founder
Meet Ken Goodrich
The man they call 'The Kenerator.' The science-fair spark behind A&A GenPro. A lifelong mission to make sure no Houston family ever sits in the dark again.
Ken Goodrich
Founder, Kenerator & The GenPro Family
"The days are over of generators being considered a luxury. Energy security is more important than ever, and in Houston it's a necessity, not a want."
Ken Goodrich, Founder of Kenerator and The GenPro Family
The story began in Las Vegas, NV, where young Ken Goodrich, nicknamed "The Kenerator" by his father, engineered his first generator for a science fair to impress his engineer dad. When the teacher doubted his work, it sparked a lifelong mission: build reliable Personal Power Plants for homes everywhere.
Decades later, that mission lives on in Houston through A&A GenPro, part of the GenPro family of brands and a team that has protected Gulf Coast families through Hurricane Ike, the freeze, and every blackout in between. Two decades in, the crew still treats every install like their own family's on the line. The fire that started at that science fair? It never went out.
